Supply Chain Data Analyst

We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Supply Chain team in Ghent.

Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager the role primarily is to provide support with in depth analysis and improvement suggestions when possible. This will require working closely with supply chain teams both in UK and Continental Europe. As a Supply Chain Data Analyst, you will be a key influencer within the Supply Chain team, with strong communication skills, challenging where appropriate, working with multiple departments on a regular basis and engaging key stakeholders on projects and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities …
  • Driving real, accurate and efficient reporting on a monthly, weekly or ad hoc basis across supply chain
  • Monitor planning and execution activities for exception conditions (e.g. sales forecast exceptions)
  • Agregrate results and calculate key performance metrics
  • Identify gaps in reports and creating solutions to improve efficiencies
  • Working cross functionally to ensure allocations/reservations are available at the start of the promotion and also excess stock at the end is kept to a minimum
  • Thorough analysis and working with the planners to order and allocate stock to all channels when needed.
  • Ensure that demand plan and business plan are in line with expectations, and identify actions to close any gap when necessary
  • Provide insight to Supply & Demand Planners and Management that will aid future decision making

About you …
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferably in Business, Logistics or Engineering
  • Fluent in English and Dutch
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and Power BI is essential
  • Exceptional analytical, data management and problem-solving skills, highly proficient in using Microsoft Excel with the ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data quickly to establish data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
