In our Pilot Plant, new technologies are tested as well as processes scaled up before bringing them into production. By conducting a wide range of tests and experiments in the lab and pilot hall, the process is fine-tuned before being brought to industrial scale. Finally, the Pilot Plant Team supports the production team in the start-up of a new process.

In short, a very important link in the development of new products and processes for Rousselot. And you can be a part of that!

Your responsibilities:

• In the pilot plant you schedule, coordinate and perform trials and experiments in accordance with strategic objective of the Science and Innovation direction

• You are responsible for writing the trial reports (in English), review reports of performed experiments and present new business cases/opportunities to different stakeholders
• You manage the daily activities including weekly schedule stock management, maintenance intervention.
• You work in close collaboration with the process development managers to optimize the workload in the pilot plant and resource requirement
• You use appropriate project management tool to follow up on the projects
• You initiate new continuous improvement ideas to the pilot hall (safety, quality, performance)
• You are a trust person for the team and identify their needs to ensure development on all levels enabling their growth
• Support in start-up of new installation, new process
• The job is a combination of approximately 70% on the field and 30% administration.
• You report directly to het Pilot Plant Manager

Jouw profiel

• You combine a master in science, process engineering, industrial engineering, food technology or related with 5-10 years work experience

• With your hands-on work mentality , coordinating skills and solid perseverance you bring the broad range of projects to a successful conclusion.

• You have great communication skills and are fluent in English and Dutch (oral and written). A good understanding of French is a plus

• You have a scientific curiosity and are eager to learn and willing to develop yourself within the organization

• You are willing to travel on the different Rousselot manufacturing site, CMO and technology suppliers (25%)

• You naturally take on a leader role in a team

• Experienced in project management

• Toezien op de toepassing van procedures en regels op vlak van hygiëne, veiligheid, kwaliteit en milieu
• Het basisonderhoud van laboratoriuminstallaties uitvoeren
• De resultaten van metingen en analyses beschrijven
