Head of

Energy Efficiency Design

to support the company to develop its design knowledge with an eye on real energy performance. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. Key Tasks & Responsibilities

As part of our Building Research team, you are the link between the Design, Construction and Technology teams.

Your role will be twofold: Research and Development: You will be leading our research projects which the objective to create optimised energy design solution and execution details to achieve Real Energy Performance on our clients’ project, relying heavily on the inputs from our Data and Technology teams, on one hand, and on the feedback from our Construction site and trials, on the other hand This will include, but not be limited to: Designing fabric scenarios and test plans Selecting estates and properties according to our needs (quantities and archetypes) Very exceptionally you might be involved in managing directly the works for small research projects Quality control of site execution Sales support, Tender Management and Execution quality control Feasibility studies with high level technical and cost estimate (renovation projects) Analysis of construction dossier (renovation preferred) Preparation full technical design (energy efficiency) --Screening for energy saving measures, estimating financial and technical feasibility ---Engineering energy savings(technical but also building envelop) Preparation full technical design (energy efficiency) Coordination of architects, engineers and external consultants and client for Tender submissions, Building permits & Procurement design --Coordinating technical design and execution of the energy concepts Cooperation with internal Project Manager for design specification and quality controls on site, including technical support with consultants during execution phase Your input will be required in the negotiated procurement process with the partners in our supply chain, and you will be included in the contractors’ procurement process. Essential Requirements

Qualifications Bachelor/Master Project engineer Building physics / energy efficiency (able to function in a startup) Skills Microsoft Office 365 Language: Bilingual Dutch/English, French will be appreciated Drawing expert AutoCad and/or Revit Basic knowledge in HVAC engineering and dimensioning Expertise in EPB / knowledge in Dynamic modelling Desirable Requirements Approx. 5-10 years of experience in Contractor/Study bureau, including: Project

Design management experience Procurement experience Site experience Experience with public tenders and pricing for Social Housing is an asset. You have knowledge of construction data and technical installations. Knowledge of and experience with EPB software and EPB regulations is highly recommended. You are stress-resistant and can work to a tight deadline. Location
