SAP BI Analyst


Robert Half is looking for a SAP B.I. Analyst (m/f/x) who will focus on development and enhancement of the SAC corporate planning and reporting system for data and business intelligence.


Our client is a well-known company active in medical sector and located in Mechelen.


You will be part of the SAP Center of Excellence team consisting of 10 SAP experts. You will be working closely with CFO and FP&A team, transforming business needs into system design, data models and stories. You report to the VP Digitalization & ICT.

Scope of Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with Finance and SAP CoE teams to enhance SAC reporting and planning, acting as a liaison between the Business Intelligence (B.I.) reporting lead and the finance manager.
  • Provide expert support in SAP Analytics Cloud affairs, with a focus on reporting, planning, and implementation of Rolling Forecast (ROFO) strategies spanning 18 to 24 months.
  • Monitor lifecycles and upgrades within SAP Cloud, ensuring optimal system performance and providing technical support to the Finance department.
  • Drive supply security by conducting comprehensive analyses and providing visualization support to manage market footprint and avoid overstock.
  • Maintain live reporting systems, optimize data models for budgeting and forecasting cycles, and develop Long-Term (LT) models to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Manage data models, refine visualizations, and oversee setup processes to meet evolving business needs, while spearheading growth initiatives in automation, digitization, and IoT integration.
  • Document business intelligence changes according to the change management policy and transfer necessary knowledge to key users for correct application usage.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud, specializing in planning capabilities, stories development, and implementation of ROFO strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Planning tools implementation, financial consolidation solutions, and S/4HANA functionalities.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into effective system designs and apply advanced data & analytics techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive insights from financial data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in documenting changes according to change management protocols and providing training and support to end users.
