Design/Application Engineer Industrial Hydraulic Systems (Rexroth)

Join our innovative team as a Designer – Application Engineer, where you will be responsible for the design of hydraulic schematics, assembly drawings, and mechanical constructions. You will create detailed plans for hydraulic drive systems, ensuring they can be assembled or manufactured either in our own workshop or in the Center of Competence (CoC) of Bosch Rexroth. As a key user, you will also follow and implement further developments of our CAD software (Autocad, BricsCAD, and Pro-Engineer Creo) and our proprietary Rexroth applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requests based on parts lists, specifications, and potential customer standards to gain insight and create designs that meet customer requirements.
  • Design systems based on provided parts lists, technical specifications, and standards: hydraulic schematics, assembly drawings, and construction drawings.
  • Complete the parts list with additional assembly materials such as couplings, flanges, bolts, etc.
  • Draw the piping layouts for connecting our units to the consumers.
  • Design mechanical components needed for the hydraulic installation.
  • Prepare a production dossier for assembling the units in our own workshop or CoC.
  • Prepare the “as built” dossier.
  • In the future, after comprehensive training and induction, take on part of the engineering tasks, including performing technical calculations and preparing the parts list based on customer requests, in collaboration with the sales engineer.

We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in engineering and design.

Required Skills:

  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Technical and spatial insight.
  • Proficiency in Autocad, BricsCAD, and Pro-Engineer (PTC Creo).
  • Knowledge of common software applications.
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Administrative accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Punctual and detail-oriented.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch/French (or willing to learn one of both languages)

Training:

  • Training will take place in Belgium, the Netherlands (or an English-speaking country).
