In the role of Logistic Process Engineer, you will develop, manage, and optimize the Service Market supply chain to ensure maximum uptime of equipment globally. Based at our Ghent distribution center—the largest of its kind globally—you will be involved in handling spare parts for diverse equipment and implementing secondary activities focused on delivery precision, service, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with a global team to design future operational practices across our network of distribution centers.
- Investigate and propose innovative software and hardware tools to enhance process execution.
- Support warehouses in creating multi-year roadmaps from current to desired future states.
- Engage in process mapping, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives, including benchmarking and best practices within the Volvo Operational Concept (VOC).
- Participate in IT workshops to align system solutions with business needs.

Jouw profiel

- Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Deep knowledge of logistics processes and development.
- Experience with lean management techniques and project management.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in change management.
- Skilled in data modeling software (e.g., Python, SQL, PowerBI) and conceptual modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, FormIT).

• Het logistiek plan van een organisatie opstellen en implementeren (voorschriften, werkmethodes, ...)
• De implementatie en realisatie van logistieke actieplannen opvolgen en de uitvoering controleren
• Een systeem implementeren voor het beheer van de logistieke stromen voor: Distributie
